This original pre-war MG is in very good running condition. Engine (XPAG) compression is excellent in all 4 cylinders, recently rebuild carburators, shock absorbers, oil pump, fuel pump, cleaned and sealed gas tank, new dash wiring, new battery and a spin-on oil filter modification.
Actual mileage is unknown. Ebay requires that a number be shown in the listing
The soft top is in good condition as is all four of the side curtains.The tonneau cover is slightly faded from the sun.It has brooklands windscreens, working trafficators, instruments and lights. Most of the original tools are in the tool box. Interior shows some wear but is in good condition.
Presently it needs some minor brake work and work on the speedo cable (noisy).
The car which came off the production line on October 9, 1937 and was first registered in the UK on December 20th of that year. We have some service records, and ownership history dating back to August 1960. The engine was installed sometime in the 1950's, the XPAG engine is the same engine used in the MG TB, TC and TD.
