1950 and 1949 studebakers
1950 Studebaker Description
Here is a 1949 Champion (green) and a 1950 Champion (red). These cars were disassembled when I purchased them. I had planned to make an all Studebaker street machine with the '50 but my plans have changed. I am selling both of these cars together as a package. The motor and transmission is still in the '49. The '50 motor is out and disassembled and I am not sure that I have everything for it. The front and rear seat frames and springs are in both cars. Both cars have good bodies with minimal rust. The '50 has nice front sheet metal, doors and trunk lid.The '49 has nice fenders and hood. The doors are dented and the trunk lid is rusty. Both cars have parts missing and are about 75% complete. Both cars roll good, but the '50 steering box is frozen and will not steer. The wheels on the '49 are not correct and are only good for temporary moving. The driver door on the '50 will not open and is missing the passenger side trunk hinge so the trunk is just laying in place. Both cars have clear titles. If you are looking fora Studebaker project this could be for you. This is a no reserve auction.
