2001 Saturn S-Series Description

This car was used as a mail delivery vehicle. When it developed a sudden transmission leak I decided not to have it fixed because it's too small for the large number of parcels we are getting now, and I had mostly been using it for errands anyway. My mechanic says the leak may be just a line break. The car also has some electrical problems (mostly with the wipers and turn signals) and may need to have the module in the steering wheel replaced. Motor was running good when I parked it. Transmission was replaced a few years ago and worked great till the leak developed. Body and interior are in fair condition. There is one good-sized dent on front bumper (see photo), otherwise no major body traumas. Good tires. Optional set of used studded tires (free with BUY IT NOW purchase). Owner's manual and Chilton manual included. Bottom line -- there could be serious issues, or you could have a decent running car with good gas mileage for a few hundred bucks. The tires alone are worth the starting price for the vehicle.
