This is a 1933 Pierce Arrow 12 Cylinder Model 1236 5-passenger sedan, VIN 2075328.This car is in HPOF condition, with the original upholstery and interior, all in very good shape. The car was re-painted and re-chromed in the 1990s.It has a new radiator (2001) and a new clutch (2010), and it runs and drives well.It is wired for 12 volts, and has a voltage regulator instead of the original Startix. The free-wheeling option has been disconnected for driving safety. This car runs and drives, but it is so rare and valuable that I have quit driving it on public roads. The odometer shows 54,505 miles, and that is probably the original mileage.I am selling the car “as is” with no returns.
I have a Maryland title for this car, and it is Maryland licensed and insured with J.C. Taylor. This car has been kept in garage storage for its entire life, and there is almost no rust or corrosion.
This car is one of just over 2,000 12-Cylinder Pierce Arrows ever made, and it is probably the most handsome design that Pierce ever produced. It sports a massive “heart shaped” grill used by many manufacturers in 1933 and 1934.
This model was used to build the famous 5 “Silver Arrows” introduced at the 1933 New York Auto Show and later at the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair.I have a model of the Silver Arrow, shown in the photos, that will convey to the new owner. In a stripped-down form, driven by Ab Jenkins, this car set land speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
I have very few spare parts, but the car will convey with two radiator caps, one original and the other a very nice repro.I also have a spare water pump and starter.
The buyer is responsible for the expense of transportation from my home in Maryland to its new home.I can assist the new buyer by meeting the truck to load the car.I have shipped cars to Europe previously, and I am willing to work with European or Asian buyers to make this happen again.
Please ask any questions through Ebay, and I will respond promptly.
