This 1999 R34 GT-R is a factory built (Nismo) racecar that was sold new to the Suzuka Racing Mechanics Team to race in the 2000 season. They finished second for the season with two class wins and three second places finishes. This car also won it’s class (Super Taikyu) in the Suzuka 1000KM race, which is open to the cars of all racing series. (JGTC, Super Taikya, etc)

Once retired from competition, the GT-R was fully restored and sold to John Harada, a noted collector of racing cars in Japan. Just prior to his ownership, the factory-authorized Nismo shop in Japan rebuilt the engine and gearbox. Symbolic International in San Diego, CA purchased the car from Mr. Harada in 2007 and imported it into the United States. This car was allowed into the country for closed circuit racing only under an exhibition and race only title. The car is NOT legal in any states as a road car.

In early 2008, this GT-R was sold to a California owner who wanted the car for private track days and club racing. Once he took delivery, he sent the car to Dynamic Autosports in Lake Forest, CA for a full race prep build. The work preformed included fresh fluids, new radiators, turbos, carbon fiber hood & trunk, new safety belts and a Recaro racing bucket seat with HANS protection. The receipts on file total over $21,000.

This is one of 12 Nismo V-Spec prepped track cars with a full roll cage, air jacks, fuel cell, and a special version of the legendary RB26DETT straight six motor. Current dyno numbers are at 540 horsepower. Dyno sheets are available upon request. The above information is based on our own research and statements made to us by the previous owners.
