2002 Saturn L-Series L200 Description

2002 Saturn L200 Sedan, 47496 miles. This car is in exceptional condition EXCEPT that it requires a new motor (connecting rod failure). This isprobably the nicest L200 in the country--no joke. Very low miles, new paint on almost the entire car, pristine leather interior except for a worn shift boot, professional window tint, 4 new Michelin tires.We bought the car on 10/30/14 with 16K miles. We have all service records since. The car was maintained meticulously (new belts, synthetic oil changes every 5k, all otherfluids changed regularly including trans, brake fluid, coolant, power steering, etc.). No idea why the engine failed.
Except for the engine, all systems on the car work properly (transmission, brakes, steering, A/C, all electrical items. The car has an aftermarket Pioneer head unit and an aftermarket back-up camera, both working properly. We have both keys with remote unlocking function. Power steering, power brakes, power door locks, power seats, cruise control, recent battery. Not a speck of corrosion.
The car was in an accident a few months ago and was repaired professionally, which is why there are several new body panels and new paint. No airbags deployed and the unibody is straight. I have the alignment printout to show that it lines up well.
This is an opportunity for a buyer to get an exceptional car for very little money and then put an engine in it for many years of enjoyment. Alternatively, the buyer can use the car for parts. The tires alone cost me $630 only 500 miles ago.
