1948 Willys cj2a Description

You will not find an original numbers matching survivor like this one. It was donated to a local small lake town fire department in 1960 and has been barely used all that time while being cared for in a firehouse closed building. No rust and extremely straight body. None of the usual dings and dents on this guy. engine #: J188829
Starts right up and drives and brakes well. lights work. New military tires a few years back with nipples still on them. New gas tank and rebuilt carb. Windshield glass cracked and the tool box lid needs replaced, but other then that it is ready to finish.
This is an excellent base cj2a to finish to a $20,000+ jeep. If I don't sell this in a few weeks then I will finish it, but I have a few projects sitting in front of it. Great opportunity for someone.
