1928 HUDSON SUPER SIX - TWO TIME MOVIE CAR!

This is a not one, but a two time movie car! This 1928 Hudson Super Six appeared in "The Untouchables" starring Kevin Kostner and also "Road to Perdition" starringPaul Newman & Tom Hanks! The owner has documentation to prove that. This Hudson has only had three owners it's whole life! The original owner was a woman that came over from Europe and bought the car new in 1928 and resided in Minnesota. The second owner was from Chicago and had the Hudson beautifully restored in 1979. This Hudson only has 62,382 original documented miles on it!!

The original drivetrain was completely gone through as well. Mechanically, this Hudson needs nothing. The undercarriage is as clean and nice as the exterior. Turn signals were added for safety reasons and a more reliable,electric fuel pump replaced the original vacuum feed type. All gauges and lights work properly.The only gauge that is not functioning is the tubular fuel gauge.

This Hudson also retainsit'soriginal tool set, owners manual and shop manual!An original set of AC spark plugs (in the boxes)are also included. All movie documentation and props will accompany the car with the sale as well.

Please read the appraisal that was performed in 2008. It describes the condition of the vehicle in detail. To summarize, this Hudson is in excellent condition. Since the appraisal, the current owner has only driven the car a little over 300 miles! The original mohair door panels are still looking like new!
