1977 MG MGB Description

The following have been replaced: clutch kit, rear main seal, front transmission seal and gasket, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, saturn 105 amp alternator conversion, radiator, tie rod ends and ball joints, electronic distributor, and steering joint boots. 1974 twin HIF4 carbs. These make it run beautifully like the old MGB's ran. It has a cold air intake installed, for the carbs. Relays have been added to the fuse block for better electrical performance.

Issues: You will see rust on the driver’s side rear fender. I have a new steel 3/4 replacement fender (from chrome trim down, door to tail light including the dogleg). You will have to install it. There is some rust on the opposite side but does not appear to be as bad. Surface only rust is appearing along chrome trim in places. Underneath looks good. There is a small crack in the wind shield you cannot see in the photos. There is a small scuff in the top as you can see however it is just on the surface, not all the way through. It obviously needs a new paint job.

I have a good tanneau cover, and the normal top cover for use while top is down. I also have a grey top cover to protect top from sun damage while parked. I still have the original Zenith Stromburg carb along with the intake and exhaust manifold. I have: a spare windshield, a new radiator that was shipped with a pin hole at the overflow joint. It can be fixed for $50.00. It was sent bad and they replaced but said don't return.

It will be a great car for someone that loves MGB's. I've tried to show as many issues with her as I know and tell you about them so you know them before looking. I drove her for over a year solid as my main car. I purchased her to restore and my health no longer is such that I can do it. So I am parting with her. It shows 66100 on odometer but it is 39 years old. I do not promise this is correct because I am not the original owner. If you purchase older automobiles I am sure you understand. Please feel free to contact and ask questions.

Shipping: You will be responsible for picking up the car. I do not ship under any circumstances. If you choose to use a shipping service that is great. Make sure to keep me informed so I can be here when they pick her up. However all responsibility will be yours and your shippers. I am unable to help them load due to my health. I will hand them the keys and it is in your/thier hands

Payment: I require a $500.00 fee to hold the car once you win the auction. If you back out the $500.00 will not be returned. This $500.00 will go towards the final purchase price. The $500.00 holding fee will be paid through paypal.

Final payment: will be a wire transfer. I apologize for the hardship but I tried to sell locally and had so many scams people tried to push that now I have to be safe. I hope you understand. Once money clears my bank I will send the title and she will be ready to pick up.
