1959 MG MGA Description

OK here we go, this was my mother's second car (she bottomed out a 57 Plymouth Fury) and it was her first new one. Ironically a new MGA was cheaper than a TD in 1958. She has had it since day one and broke her hip last week and everything must go to pay for medical bills! I always liked it, but at 45 I am an MG-B driver, this is too old school for my tastes. it has always been in storage in one place or another and as of six years ago I had it running, but not driving cos the master cylinder was out. YES it has a new fuel pump....shocker in an MG. I have a lot of stuff for it, orig manual, signals, extra rotted naugahyde, starting crank, hell even the wire wheel hammer. to my knowledge it is a positive earther, but has NOT been converted to a single 12 V battery, it still is set-up for the twin 6V batteries. I am still excavating orig parts and 30 year old new Moss Motors parts to add to the sale. I have the orig sliding windows, and the top frame is amazingly free and straight after 57 years. true it was a possum birthing centre for a while, but I tried to be accurate with the photos. I will be more than happy to add anything via e-mail and please call me at 316 312 3917 before 9 CST (I am a pre K teacher so I go to bed early LOL) The milage shown is not accurate and I will confer with her to make it more accurate, it was never totaled or wrecked more than a minor fender bender over the decades I also believe it is the 1500 motor, but will look into this too. There is rust, but nothing more than in the photos and what is there is AMAZINGLY little for a sometimes very wet Kansas life. This car also lived in Houston Texas for a few years in the 60's so it seems to resist the rust.
This is one VERY rough but complete vehicle, and given the fact that an A is worth more than a T these days about five grand would make this gal a real show stopper
happy bidding
