1965 Plymouth Valiant Description

For sale is my 1965 Valiant V200 Wagon.
225 Slant Six auto, manual steering and brakes
I bought it to have something reliable while I guided over the summer in Leavenworth(where I get all of the thumbs up rolling through town) and this fit the bill. I've put more than 3000 miles on this thing in the last three months and it has never let me down. It was owner by an older couple for a while before me who repaired anything that needed replacing as soon as it did and kept up on the maintenance. If I had to guess, based on the condition I am assuming the odometer has only turned over once, but I cannot confirm how many miles it actually has because of it.The thing runs like a champ and I can't think of anything it needs right now to be daily driven(I daily drove this till I got my truck!). Transmission shifts smooth, the 225 slant six is smooth and it's actually really nice to drive long distance in. You can hold a normal conversation with your passengers when going 70 on the highway. The interior is in pretty decent shape and I've been able to fit perfectly with a single air mattress in the back to sleep while camping with the middle bench seat down. I've loaded it up with 5 kayaks to shuttle and five paddlers inside and had no issues rolling down the highway. The electric rear window rolls up and down with both the key and the switch inside nicely. Tires still have plenty of tread.
It has basically an entirely brand new ignition system(spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, Pertronix and Pertronix coil), except for the distributor body which has worked fine.
There is a ding here and there and the front bumper is bent a little(before my ownership), but it's a very straight car. The owner previous to me painted every single rust spot he could find with rustoleum(just one shade off of the rest of the car, but only noticeable closer than 10 ft away) when he found them. The only rust spots are just behind the rear wheels there is a piece(pictured) and where the tailgate opens. The luggage rack on the roof from the factory is still pretty useful.
Feel free to ask questions. I have a Photobucket with additional photos that can be emailed to you and can take more reasonable pictures upon request.
