The car was fully restored three years ago with no item overlooked. Original floors and very little (if any) body filleron the car. Thereare several small paint bubbles on the trunk lid that are hardly noticeable. The car has been repainted in original Alpine white. Both bumpers have been rechromed, as well as many other exterior trim items. Excluding the tires and wheels, the exterior is 100% original in appearance.
The interior islike newand has been completely repainted. All upholstery, door panels, dash pad, headliner, package shelf and carpet have been replaced with new to match OEM. Dash bezels have been rechromed and refurbished, gauges all work and have been refurbished and the OEM AM radio has been converted to an AM/FM transistor. The windshield is new and other glass is in good condition. Most weatherstripping has been replaced with new and halogen headlightsinstalled.
The engine was totally rebuilt with a few modifications made to improve performance. All wear parts were either replaced or rebuilt. The block was aligned bored, rods balanced and the cylinders bored.030 over. Amild cam was installed, as well as new rockers and lifters. The head is believed to have been shaved by a previous owner, but I'm not sure how much. A new Clifford intake with a Holly 390 cfm 4 bbl carb has been installed, as well as a Clifford ceramic coated split header with 2 ¼" dual exhaust to the rear bumper, giving it a mild rumble that sounds similar to a V-8. The ignition has been converted to electronic.
The original manual 3 speed transmission has been replaced with a rebuilt A-883 4 speed with a Hurst shifter and the differential has been replaced with a rebuilt 7¼" Sure Grip. The manual brakes are stock, but have been totally rebuilt. The front suspension and manual steering have been totally rebuilt with new shocks installed front and rear. The original 13" wheels have been upgraded to 14" Ralleye's with new red wall radial tires.
Included in this sale are original service and owner's manuals, some parts manuals, original sales brochures and literature, original bill of sale and many other misc. documents. Also, I have a pair of unpainted fender skirts & apower steering pump & steering sectorthat I will throw in. I have entered this beautifully restored car in numerous car shows and it has won its share of trophies. Because of its rarity and condition, it gets a lot of attention.This car has good pep and really purrs on the interstate.
