1953 Plymouth cranbrook Description

1953 Plymouth Cranbrook coupe, running and driveable although I wouldnt drive it far as it is.New 6 volt charging system and new tires on it. Tires are radials so not period correct for the vehicle. The only thing i dont have for it are the stock factory hubcaps and im not sure if i have the airbreather or not, If i find it, it will go with the car. Interior door panels are here but they are basically just good to use for patterns. What it needs to be ready for the road:Drivers side floor panel. This one is rusted around the master cylinder access holes like they all did back then and needs replacing. (about $60 here on ebay)Rear end needs flushing and refilling, the grease has gotten thick and pasty so it needs cleaned out.Brakes seem to be working fine but with the rear end dragging it is hard to tell, could probably use at least a fluid change. At the moment, i have a 6v electric fuel pump on it and the mechanical one mounted is not the OEM glass bowl style. The electric was installed for flushing out the fuel tank which still hasnt been done. I used an auxiliary tank for driving it around the property.Carb needs to be rebuilt, it is the original BB carb and functions well enough to drive the vehicle but wont adjust out properly, runs a little too rich.Car is solid with the exception of the drivers floor pan.As you can see, interior needs to be completely redone.I was going to do a full restoration on this but just dont have the time and it is too complete and in too good shape for me to make a hotrod out of.Also is listed for sale or trade locally. Located in north central arkansas, not the end of the world but you can see it from here.Shipping would be the responsibility of the buyer or picked up within 1 week. It could be driven onto a trailer quite easily. As indicated, a $300 deposit via Paypal within 48 hours of the end of the auction. Sorry for the hassle but i have had one too many people back out after a sale is complete. Deposit is non refundable and is deducted from final price. That is for the deposit only.
