1972 Plymouth Duster Description

Up for auction is a project 1972 Plymouth Duster "AS IS". 1st off the car currently has centerline weld type wheels on it now. NO KEYSTONE WHEEELS INCLUDED. The last photo shows what a "72 Super Blue Twister Duster looks like from the factory. The fender tag has a G code (318 motor), B3paint codestreet basin (Super Blue or Petty Blue) with Twister Duster code, black stripes, dual snorkel hood and shark tooth grille. I have the original hood with no scoops. The car currently has a standard Duster grille. I do not have the original shark tooth grille.I bought the car witha non running 400 big block motor and a 727trans in it. There is holes cut for fender well headers. The rear frame has beennarrowed but still has the stock wheel wells. The car hasthe stock A body 8.75 with a 3:55 positive trackcenter. Pulled the 400 and dropped a 1974 small block 318with what sounds like a rod knocking. It does run good. I haven't figured it out yet. I am not sure on the 727 transmission.The car is aworking project still in progress. Not everything is hooked up yet either(belts, radiator ect). The lights and brakes work. Comes with a steel fuel cell and a newer deep cycle battery. There is no trunk floor. Needs drivers quarter panel and a lower patch panel for the passenger side. I have a drive shaft for it but it will need cut. Decent fenders, doors and floor pans. No headliner or bows. No dash pad. Some hail damage. Typical rust around torsion bar mounts by the trans. I have a complete section included for this area if needed.Tires are aged.It has aB&M shifter installed. The car is not at the point to where it can be restored back to factory or it can befinished out pro street.Dash tag, fender tag and clear title all matches.
