This is a beautifully restored muscle car. You can't buy and restore any muscle car at this price.
72 is the rarest year for the road runner. Only 1,839 came with the 340 and 727, but how many in Rallye Red with bucket seats, console and all these options?
Has the original 727 Trans mated to a 71 340 with only 18k miles on it, much better than the 72-73 340's.
The 68-71 340's were rated @ 275hp but actually had around 310. The 275 rating was for insurance reasons and not to embarrass the 383.
Just like the 426 Hemi rated at 425hp, yeah right, it actually had between 475-500, again for insurance reasons.
Also, only the 72 road runner had it's own unique grille. The Satellite and road runner always shared the same grille except in 72.
Making the 72 road runner grille the rarest and most expensive. I know of one that's NOS, his asking price is $3,000.
Contact Ed @ 4086239645 9am-9pm PT with questions. The Leather TUFF wheel shown was added and can be purchased for $500.
The stock wheel goes with car, not the TUFF. Same goes for the Air Cleaner, I added both, they didn't come with the car when I bought it.
Hagerty says it best: Colors can make an astonishing difference in both value and sale-ability.
Note: I reserve the right to end this listing at anytime due to it being for sale locally.
So if I were you I wouldn't wait till the last day to bid, plus I will NOT be re-listing it again this year.
