1978 Plymouth Volare wagon 78 NICE CLEAN DRIVER Florida solid F body longroof
1978 Plymouth Volare Description
Hate to sell her, but I'm wanting another Mopar, so one has to go to make room for another. This is my daily driver, runs and drives excellent, with no known mechanical problems. Slant six "Super Six" with 2bbl carb, auto tranny, power steering and power brakes. Tires only have about 4 thousand miles on them. Factory A/C, does need a new compressor according to my local A/C shop. It has the newer style compressor on it. I've replaced the heater core, and when doing so I found some rust around the fresh air inlet above the heater fan unit. I repaired it, therefore the access panel cut into the top of the passenger side cowl. A couple of spot welds and some seam sealer is all that needs. There is no other way to get in between the cowl panels on these. The car is not rusty and has never been up north. The paint is mostly original Mint Green metallic and is faded to a sort of cool looking "suede" patina. The body has been prepped for paint, therefore the couple of primer spots where we fixed some dings. The glass is all good, but the tint is peeling in areas. The interior is fantastic, dash pad is beautiful, driver's side of the front seat has some rips. Headliner has been replaced with some green material by the previous owner that looks good yet. Interior plastics have also been re-sprayed by the previous owner. Original bias ply spare, jack and lug wrench, completely solid in the spare well, quarters and doglegs, floors, very very solid and clean. Rug is in beautiful shape as well as all the door panels. You'd be hard pressed to find any more of these wagons this clean and presentable. This will drive anywhere dependably, or you can have it shipped. Located in Ocala, Florida 34470.
