1979 Pontiac Trans Am Description

I bought this cararound 2004 and since then I have built it up to be a bullet proof muscle car that you can drive almost anywhere and is a LOW 11 SECOND 1/4 car and I built it with only the best of the best parts because it is one of my personal favorites out of my collection! Ive only took it to the track once to get a time just so I would know what it will do and that was before I done even more to it and it could easily be in the high 10's if you wanted but I turned it down to make it a driver and dependable. This car has way too much to list but here are the main things, Last January I added a BRAND NEW RIDE TECH 4 LINK COIL OVER STAGE 2 SUSPENSION all the way around that cost 4 thousand dollars and a NEW SET of YEAR ONE 17 inch FACTORY SNOW FLAKE RIMS that cast 2,000 dollars and a set of Federal 245/70/17's that fit the car excellent.but now the car looks much better and rides and drives like a new vette and it corners like a dream! It also has WELDED IN SUB-FRAME CONNECTORS to strengthen the frame and the suspension is now adjustable for raising or lowering the car to whatever style or stance you prefer. I wanted to run the 403 6.6 Liter because it was a 1 year only option but now instead of having no power from the factory back then, it now is a stroked 403 with KEITH BLACK PISTONS,EDELBROCK ALUMINUM HEADS,INTAKE,BIG CAM,HEADERS,HOLLEY CARB and etc and should be a little over 500 horsepower. It is very driveable believe it or not because I added a 2,700 doller TCI OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION that makes it more highway friendly with a B/M RATCHET SHIFTER. The rear axle has a FRESH 3:73 GEAR RATIO and is a POSI-TRAC which makes it so much better to drive. Since this powertrain was put in Ive probably put 6,000 miles on it over a 5 year period of just driving around town and some small weekend trips. The heads on this motor alone are 2,600 dollars and the motor, tranny and rear axle cost around 11,000 to do because everything is done with the best parts and is matched togeather very careful for the best performance. I ran 3 INCH STAINLESS DUAL EXHAUST with FLOWMASTERS so that the engine could breathe properly and smooth and this car sounds incredible and catches way too much attention I promise!!! Its got a 4 CORE GRIFFIN RADIATOR and DUAL ELECTRIC FANS which Griffin is the best and also have a HOLLEY RED ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP with 5/8 Fuel line. I painted this car 10 years ago and looks incredible going down the road but up close you will notice little flaws and the driver front and rear fender have a few little cracks but it hasbeen like that for over 5 years, howeverit is a driver so little things happen over 10 years and its not a show car but indeed it is very nice that still looks great. Last year I bought a 79 T-Top roof cut off with the T-tops still in the original bags and I was going to cut my roof off on the lead seems and make a nice roof swap but never did so I also have a79 T-Top roof and glass that comes with this car as well if you want to ever make it a T-Top car. This is a extremely solid car and itstill has the ORIGINAL WINDSHELD in it and the REAR SEATS are also original and I have the original front seats with no rips either but these look way better to me. This car only shows 90K on theodometer, but recently the speedo quit which is probably just a cable and I will put it on the lift and check, It doesn't bother me because I wanted to replace all the gauges with a nice set of modern gauges or a pro-form set tospice up the inside a little. The inside I ordered all new door panels, carpet, dash, headliner and etc from ames performace. Last year I just added NEW PRO-TOURING BUCKET SEATS in the front,NEW CARPET and DYNO MATTED the whole cab floor for more insulation to kill sound and road noise. The car has power windows and tint and has 4 all NEW KICKER 6x9's in the dash,CD PLAYER, and a CUSTOM FIBERGLASS MOLDED BOX with two 10 inch KICKER WOOFERS in the trunk that we made just for this car. All the lights, blinkers and horn work as well. Overall this is a excellent 37 year old muscle car who many people refer it to smokey the bandit from the show. I have owned this car for a long time but finally decided to sell it maybe and build something different. This car was built with lots of expensive parts and tons of labor and hours have been put into it over some time and If your wanting the ultimate muscle car to cruise around look cool getting thousands of heads turned at you then this one is for you, I promise this car is something that when your in it you seem to forget about promblems or reality and will make you feel like stallone!!!! I HAVE A CLEAR TEXAS TITLE I will never get what I put into it but that's my fault due to never was planning on selling it. These cars are getting more and more expensive and are a good investment to buy for the future unlike these new cars that go down and down every year in value and besides this car is a 1/3rd of what a new vette cost and has tons more character plus is faster and will get you more attention and probably a good lookin date as well, joke!FEEL FREE IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL ME 512-760-566FIVE I DONT EMAIL OR TEXT THANKYOU This car is Located In Rockdale, Texas
