1967 Pontiac GTO Description

I have a 1967 Pontiac GTO 2 door hard top. The car has been a project since 2006 that has been worked on off and on to get to this point. The car will ot drive but needs a few things before it goes back to cruising. The car has had over 20,000.00 spent on it since 2004. This will be a easy car to finish up. The car belongs to my father in law and he has lost ambition to finish the car is why its for sale now. Car is located outside spring hope NC 27882
The outside of the car was painted about a year and half ago but has never been sanded and buffed. The paint work is ok for a driver but not a show car. The car was a gold car from the factory but he wanted to back with this blue color from 1966 GTO. The car was stripped to bare metal and then has replacement panels installed. Had partial quarter, trunk pa, rear tail panel and around front and back glass. Had a couple small patches in the floor. The body work and prep work was done by a shop who builds muscle cars =. The paint work was done by a family friend. The car still needs the top done which you can see in pics and needs some adjusting on body gaps as it was bolted back together and dropped off.
The interior of the car is nice for a driver but again not perfect. The dash pa, carpet and head liner are all new when installed.
The engine is a early 70 455 that has had about 10,000.00 spent building it. Edelbrock heads and intak, header, balance and blue printed . I have the recirpts have with the car of course that shows block work and everything done. The trans is a turbo 400. The rear end is a 12 bolt with 373 posi . Flowmaster exhaust that still looks new and is 2 1/2 inch or 3 inch . Has power steering and power manual brakes.
