2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Description

2002 was the last year Pontiac manufactured the Firebird. A total of 30,690 Firebirds were built for worldwide distribution. 5,192 of them were convertibles. According totransamworld.comonly 80 units were built like the one I am selling. I bought the car in June 2005 with my wife at the time when it had 4715 miles on the odometer. I am the second owner. FYI, when my wife passed away in 2014, the title was assigned to me so a CarFax may show three owners. I have put approximately 1000 miles a year on it since I've had it. It is an absolute joy to drive with all of its power and beauty. No need to worry about shifting with an automatic transmission. I am moving into retirement and need to downsize.
The engine is the 5.7L V8 PFI OHV ALUM with 325 hp and 350 ft/lbs. of torque. It has the WS6 Ram Air handling package: four nostril Ram air induction, special low-restriction exhaust, power steering cooler and tuned suspension. I put new tires on last year (less than 500 miles driven on them). The safety package includes 4 wheel ABS, running lights with dual front air bags. Standard equipment: power windows, power steering, AC, AM/FM/CD, power brakes, tilt wheel, 6 digit odometer, cruise control, rear window defroster, fog lights, concealed quartz halogen headlights, twin chrome exhaust tips, rear spoiler, 17" wheels. This model also has the power antenna, remote mirrors, auto door locks and power windows with express down function on driver's side. It just received an oil change and the NYS inspection. The vehicle's interior is in very good to excellent condition. It is in excellent mechanical condition. There is evidence of small curb scratches to two wheels and if you are familiar with the interior door panels of the Firebird some have the crack or fracture due to a design flaw (See photos for further detail). A boot and boot cover included with car cover. I have had this beauty detailed for the new owner. You will not be disappointed!
