One owner, very well maintained, lots of new parts, rare Comp G pkg, NICE!!
2005 Pontiac Grand Prix Description
I purchase this vehicle with 784 miles on it in Nov. 2008. So technically I'm the 2nd owner. However, the car was still new with window sticker and floor mats in the trunk still in plastic. The car had been parked in a garage for three years and not used due to a messy divorce. When it was over, the wife got the car, didn't want it (I'll explain if someone wants to buy), and traded it in on a new Chevrolet. I purchased the car from the Chevrolet dealer who took it in. I still have the original window sticker showing the MSRP of over $31,000
This has been one of the best vehicles I've ever owned. Many of the miles are highway miles due to the type of work I do, and it's been my main daily driver since I purchased it. It has so many new and replaced parts it's hard to list them all. I'm very particular about the condition of the vehicles I drive because I have to depend on them daily. This car has never let me down.
In the last year and a half I've done the following: brakes; rebuilt calipers, new rotors and pads, new struts, outer tie rod ends, lower control arm bushings, water pump, EGR valve, catalytic converter, spark plugs, plug wires, front hydraulic caliper brake lines, battery, tires, alternator and supercharger belts, and fuel tank vent relief valve.
If you do a vehicle history report, it may show a couple minor accidents, but no sheet metal was ever damaged, only the front bumper cover both times; minor parking lot stuff, but I did turn it in to insurance so it may show up, but again never any sheet metal damaged or replaced.
This is a rare car. The Comp G pkg. was only available for two years; 2004 & 2005. I've spoken to a few Pontiac dealers over the years and many have never even seen this package; very rare. This vehicle has every option that was available at that time; Heads up display, navigation system, sun roof, leather interior, drivers power seat, Monsoon sound system with 6 disc CD changer, red brake calipers, special 17 inch wheels (optional at that time). The interior is parchment with a graphite color carpet.
The only rust is a very small amount of surface rust right around the antenna on the roof of the vehicle; not really visible. The interior is nearly perfect with a small puncture on the interior drivers door panel. The front tires; Michelin's are brand new, the rears have plenty of tread left. It has a small exhaust leak at one of the manifold gaskets, but it's so faint I haven't had it repaired and it doesn't affect driving or mileage.
I still drive this car every day, but it's time for a new one, so someone who knows what a great car this is will get an extremely nice daily driver. I want to sell this car quickly but will not take less than it's worth. So, do some research online and go to NADA.com and find the book value for this car. It says Clean Retail with options and correct mileage; $6,100.
