1972 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 Description

For your consideration isa 1972 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 project. A true PHS Documented W 66 cat that is mostly complete, structurally sound project with minimal rust issues, but requiring total restoration. The car retains its original vin stamped powertrain components as indicated in the the photos.The TH400 Trans. and rear axle differential are likely serviceable as fluids look/smell good with nometal particles evident, but the engine is seized and will require rebuilding. Body wise the external sheet metal is all useable but will need patch repairs on the right lower quarter areas.The metal dash is rusty where it meets the lower windshield and the drivers corner area.This can probably be repaired but I am including an excellent original from a donor.The trunk pan has a small rust through area and has surface rust and is rather soft, likely requiring trunk pan replacement.The floor pans have surface rust but are all useable, with the rear passenger floor being somewhat soft and a good candidate for POR 15. Rear frame rails and trunk drop offs have only minor surface rust and are in good condition. Original colors were Anaconda Gold with Custom Saddle interior.Most parts to complete are with the car and included.( Fan,shroud,and 1 15" Rally wheel are missing). The original Formula hood is in nice condition requiring only minor attention. 1 of 4167 produced,this is a decent project car worthy of restoration with a reasonable reserve.
