1957 Pontiac Star Chief Description

For Sale: 1957 Pontiac Star Chief 2Dr. Hardtop. This is a project car or very good parts car. The motor 347 V8 (not running, auto trans, complete rear are intact, condition unknown. This rear which has a 9,25 ring gear with 12 bolts and is dropout tranny. It was used in 57-62 Pontiacs and Oldsmobiles. Very strong rear typically been used in gasser's. It is rollable with steering intact. This model has the heavy duty Pontiac X frame. Most body parts are solid with typical surface rust. Interior is missing. Floor has rust thru. Right fender has a dent (see photo's) about 6". Rear side windows missing. More photo's can be added if requested. Questions welcome. Call 860 881-9926.
