50th Anniversary Tans Am Rare!

1976 Pontiac Trans Am 50th Anniversary Description

Here is your chance to buy a rare car, this a real 50thanniversaryTrans Am. I bought this a few years ago with the intention of restoring it buthaven'treally got the motivation to really do it. I did have the engine rebuilt .030, other than a hotter cam it was a stock rebuild. I have maybe have 500 miles on the motor. I take it out every summer and run a tank or 2 of gas through it. Gets a lot of attention!
I got the car out of North Dakota, and yes it has rust and has been painted before. I am not theoriginalowner andcan'tspeak the the history of the car. The car is pretty decent body wise, some filler on thepassengerside rear quarter behind the wheel. The trunk drop off is fine. There is some rust at the bottom of thefrontfenders and door bottom. Very fixable. I do have mint fenders, trunk lid and tail panel that areavailablefor sale with the car. The bad part is that thepassengerside rear frame rail is rusty and needs to be replaced. I was gonna just replace the trunk floor and do the frame repair at that time.
A/C needs to be recharged but it does work. It still has the 8 track in it, but has an aftermarket stereo in it. Dash is good otherwise. I dont have the original radio. Power windows work, cruise does not.
This is being sold as a restoration project. Not a show car. If youdon'tget thatdon'tbid. It's a rare car that deserves to be restored. Do some homework and you will see how few of these were made. When is the last time you saw one??
