1985 Pontiac Trans Am Description

For sale is my 1985 Trans Am. I have owned this car for about 4 years, title is clear and in my name. This Trans Am is very original, only non original items are the shifter, air cleaner lid and radio and obviously wear parts like brakes and tires, battery etc. The car runs and drives great with zero issues. I drove it from CT to IA last year when I moved and it ran all 1400 miles flawlessly. Starts right up, idles great and pulls hard. Shifts smoothly with no issues or noises. Brakes work great. This car needs nothing to drive away and could be used as a daily driver if wanted.
The interior is complete but it does need some work to look great again. Pictures show condition. Has completelynormal wear for a 30 year old car. The tan and gray combination is rare and I have never seen another like this one in person. Headliner is excellent and not drooping. Radio is newer with an auxiliary plug and sounds nice with aftermarket speakers. Arm rest lid hinges are broken and the shifter plate has a crack. The interior will need attention for sure but is complete.
The body of the car is straight and 99% rust free but the paint is really in poor shape. It desperately needs new paint. The body is very solid over all however and just needs basic prep, no panels to replace or severe rust issues to deal with. The black on the headlight is just dirt from the car not being washed for quite awhile because the paint has become so bad I just stopped washing it. It will clean up with some effort but I did not want to present the car all cleaned up and have it appearbetter than it really is.
Under the hood it is all original and unmolested other than an aftermarket air cleaner lid. There is an oil leak as to be expected with a car of this age and mileage but it is not a major concern and has never been an issue. I add a quart every 500 miles or so. There are no other leaks I am aware of. Battery is new as of last fall. It does have the typical puff of smoke at startup but does not smoke while driving, replacing the valve seals would fix this but it is not really an issue that affects the way it drives. The headlights pop up and work as they should with no issues.
I do have some spare parts I will include including a full set of rear tail lights and center section in excellent condition, outer window sweeps in excellent, crack free condition, NOS GM sail panel bird emblems and a few other small parts. I started gathering these in hopes of getting the car painted some day.
As you can see from my feedback I am an honest seller and am not out to screw anyone over. I had big dreams form this car but after having it for 4 years I am realizing I am not going to be able to give it the time it needs and it deserves to be restored and not get in worse shape by just sitting. I only drove it about 8 times last year and only once so far this year. The reality is I need to sell it, I can not justify owning it at this time. Even after sitting all winter it fired right up last week, and I took it out for a 5 mile run with zero issues. Tires are in good condition. The car could be driven while restored with no problem and it certainly does need a restoration to look great again. I am sure there are many things I am forgetting so feel free to ask questions. If you are close contact me, stop by and we can take it out for a run, as I said, it is 100% ready to go and needs nothing to drive. Just needs a lot of restoration attention interior wise, some cleaningunder the hood and a paint job. It is a great candidate for a restoration if you are looking for a Trans Am to restore. Car is sold asis with no warranty and the buyer is responsible for shipping. I will accept cash on pickup, cashiers check (title and car will NOT be released until the check fully clears) or Paypal if the buyer adds 3% to the price to cover the Paypal fees.
