1979 Pontiac Firebird Smokey and the Bandit Description

This is a Gorgeous 2 owner 79 Trans Am. I bought it about one year ago and have been restoring it since. I don't think I have seen a better one. I have owned several Classic Cars over the years but none have been the Show Stopper like this one. The body is straight with no rust, no dints or dinges and is probably better than new. It is a pleasure to drive with a smooth ride and excellent handling. Can be driven anywhere. It is no Hot Rod but is surprisingly quick. It has been lowered 2 inches front and rear which gives it a awesome stance. There is a little tire rub in corners but doesn't seem to effect handling. It is equipped as follows: P/S, P/B, P/W, P/DL, Tilt Wheel, Factory AC and Deluxe Interior. It also has a Stero Radio with CD player. It's powered by a 6.6 Liter V8 with 4barrel Carb and a Automatic Turbo 350 Tranny. It will pass California Smog Requirements. It has a very low mileage of 52,085 showing on the odometer and is believed to be correct. All Gauges and equipment work as they should except the fan speed switch to the Ac/Heat has only 2 speeds. Listed below are the improvements made on the TA since purchase. New Paint, New Gold Eagle and Trim, New Headliner, New Carpet, New Dash Cap, New Rubber Seals on Doors, Windows and Trunk, New under dash Ducting to A/C and Heat, Door Hinges were rebuilt, New Front and Rear Shocks, New Front Sway Bushings, New Polished Stainless Exhaust Tail Pipes, New Tires front and rear and more. I am sure you can see for your self how nice it turned out. It will make a excellent Cruiser for weekend outings and for display at Classic car shows.
