1969 Pontiac Firebird 400 HO Ram Air lll - This Firebird is a very rare car. They only produced 499 only with that motor option. This Firebird came with many rare options. So if you put the 400 HO Ram Air lll Motor Option of only 499 Produced and all of the other rare options that came equipped on this firebird you have yourself a extremely RARE BIRD. With all the options combined on this Rare Firebird they probably only made a handful if that.
The original 400 HO Ram Air lll motor is long gone, along with the Automatic Tranny. The 400 HO motor(same as a 400 Ram Air lll motor) Only 499 produced with that motor package. I do have some correct complete Ram Air lll heads and intake that comes with the purchase of the Firebird. Both left and right inner wheel wells are missing. The firebird was a factory Automatic car but way back in the day they put a 4spd in the car and the clutch and brake pedals are still there, so if you want to put a 4spd back in the car, you can. What you see in the detailed pictures is what the car comes with and what is missing.
The original color is Cameo White, the same color as the 1969 Trans Am. Came factory with a Dark Blue Cordova Vinyl Top, pretty rare. The front nose, Bumper, grill and lower valance looks to be in ok shape. Has all 4 original T3 headlights. The 400 hood will need some body work. The drivers side fender has some small dents and Bondo. The driversside door looks to be in ok shape. The drivers side rear quarter on the upper outer wheel lip has some rust holes coming through, the rest of the quarter looks ok. The trunk looks ok, it looks to have some filler in places on the lower trunk pan. The upper trunk lip were the weather stripping goes has some rust in the lip. The rear deck lid is rough but comes with a nice deck lid that I have for the car. The lower rear window were the stainless goes has some pin holes coming through, the rest of the rear window looks ok. The passenger rear quarter looks ok, has some very small pin holes coming through towards the rear lower part of the quarter. The upper part of the rear quarter in the corner near the rear tail light has a dent. The passenger door looks ok. The front passenger fender is pretty rough but comes with a new fender. The floors will need some attention, they have rust holes coming through in different areas of the floors, many years ago they patched the floors in places, not a professional job. Overall it will need some attention. You can see the body and floors in the posted pictures.
The original interior color is Blue Knit Vinyl Deluxe with wood grain. Factory buckets with console, factory Deluxe wood steering wheel, Rally gauges, factory AC, missing AC parts that go in the engine compartment. Factory fold down rear seat, Factory AM/FM radio with old school 8 Track, could be dealer installed, very old, extremely rare power drivers side bucket seat, unheardof rare. Power windows, clock, remote drivers side mirror. All the glass is complete and in ok shape.This Firebird came with a lot options and very rare options too. Some of the rare options I have never seen, just seen in pictures.
Also has factory front disc brakes and power steering along with factory hood tach, don't have the tach, it should not be to hard to locate a hood tach. Has rally ll Wheels.

This 1969 Firebird is one of the rarest Firebirds out there. Like I said before, they only made 499 400 HO Ram Air lll's, plus all the options and rare options. Overall there's probably just a handful of these cars floating around if that. This is a very desirable, valuable and extremely rare car. The car needs restoring but a very great investment.
This is a original Black Plate California car. I still have the original Black plate along with the original license plate frame with the original dealerships name on it when the car was bought new. The firebird was bought new atHUGHES PONTIAC in Santa Barbara California 93101. You can see the original black plate and license plate frame in my detailed posted pictures.
