Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 5.0L 5 speed
1984 Pontiac Trans Am Trans Am 2 door coupe Description
Up for sale is a 1984 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. 111K original miles, see photos for condition, cracked windshield, and some surface rust with little cancer at corners of the wheel wells. I was the second owner and have owned it since 1991 and it was my baby, and every day driver until I started the engine project. Still has the original motor in it. 305 w/4bbl carb, 5-speed manual transmission with a Hurst competition shifter, 3.73 posi rear, factory WS-6 suspension package, 4-wheel disc brakes. Tilt Steering, power windows, locks, antenna, hatch release, rear defrost, factory sub-woofeer, and air conditioning. Has an aftermarket stereo consisting of 8 speakers with multiple amp/equalizers of which are mostly Kenwood and Alpine. Head unit is a pullout Alpine stereo/cassette deck and has an integral 6disc CD changer under drivers seat. I started an engine project for it a few years ago and never completed it, the engine was running fine at the time I started the project. I was at the point where I was ready to swap the engines so most of the accessory brackets, sensors etc. are all installed on the build motor. I also have the original rims from the car as well as the original steering column, (the factory column was not tilt, I installed one out of a 1984 Firebird Formula for the tilt steering), and the original radio. This auction is for the entire lot of car, spare motor and stand, rims, spare steering column, radio, and any other stuff for the car I have in the garage for it (new clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, motor mounts, mounted studded snow tires, etc.) . I feel as though the buyer is going to need a pickup truck with trailer due to the 2nd motor and stand as well as all the parts that were removed form the car when starting the project (radiator, fan, carb., etc. are all removed from the car and loose) and all other additional items. Please message me with any questions or if you want the details of the build motor I have for it. The car is located in Gilbertsville, PA
