2001 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Manual 6-speed Description

2001 Pontiac Trans AM WS6
For sale is a single-owner Navy Blue Metallic Trans AM WS6 that is in very good condition both aesthetically and mechanically. This is a 6-speed manual which came from the factory with the "Hurst" shifter linkages for quick and tight shifts. It is very fun to drive. The interior is clean and the t-tops DO NOT leak. Car has had basic bolt-on performance upgrades done to it, but it is entirely street legal and passes inspection without issues. No changes were made to the engine internally.

The car is very fast (low 12s to high 11s in 1/4 mile), fairly loud, and has a rough idle due to the aggressive cam. The upgraded valve train also makes a good bit of noise at idle, but no noises when under power. There is no annoying exhaust drone when cruising on the highway; the 4.11 gears make the 6th gear very usable and keep sound levels low.

    Upgrades
  • TEA Ported Heads w/Beehive Springs
  • Futural F13 Cam
  • Harland Rockers
  • Moser 12-bolt Rear Axle (4.11 gears)
  • BMR Sway Bars and Control Arms
  • SLP Street Suspension (Custom Bilstein shocks; awesome ride and handling)
  • Spec Street Clutch
  • SLP Loudmouth Dual/Dual Stainless Exhaust
  • Hooker Longtube Headers
  • Magnaflow High-Flow Cats
  • Tuned by Cartek in NJ
  • Shift Light
  • Line Lock

Anything not mentioned there was left as stock. Side and rear windows were professionally tinted with Llumar tint. No ripples or bubbles after over 10 years; it's top quality tint. The car still has the original factory stereo and it sounds good; all of the speakers were upgraded. Car also has brand new A/C system because the factory system was crap from day one. The new A/C system blows ice-cold air on hot days no problem. Brand new Diehard battery replaced this summer. All in all, you are getting a very nice Trans AM that is ready to drive and scare the piss out of weenies driving around in hybrids.
