1977 Pontiac Trans Am Description

Up for sale is my 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM. This is a matching numbers 400 Pontiac / Auto.
If you are looking for a Bandit Trans Am, you know they are hard to find and command a high value. This car is a true true Trans Am that has been done up similar to the an SE / Bandit car.
This is a great investment car that will continue to gain value.
This car is from Oregon and has never seen a salted road in its lifetime, which makes the body panels exceptionally clean.
The floor pans, trunk, drop offs, frame rails, tail pan, frame, lower fenders, are all solid and rust free.
There has been some floor pan repair up front, which was done to driver quality.
The odometer reads 66,XXX miles. I do not know if this is actual mileage.
I personally have not put more than a couple miles on this car, but it was driven ~ 115 miles by my friend who helped transport the car from Oregon to Massachusetts. The car got 18 mpg and never went over 180 degrees.
Underside of the car is as follows:
- Sub Frame 9/10- Rear frame rails 9/10- Rear tail pan 8/10- Floor pans 7/10 (due to repair work)- Bushings and body mounts 6/10 (they are tired)
Interior as is as follows:
- Dash 8/10- Carpet 9/10- Console 8/10- Door panels 6/10 (tired, but driver presentable)- Headliner 8/10- Front seats 8/10 (recovered in velour instead of vinyl)- Back seat 7/10
Tachometer is currently not working.
Engine / Mechanical:
- Engine runs smooth and has lots of power, no leaks- Transmission - Shifts tight, no leaks or noises- Rear end, posi, unknown gearing, no noises or leaks- Brakes stops well, but the brakes might benefit from another bleeding- AC system - compressor removed, condenser and all other components in place- All lights, marker lights, horn, etc work fine- Exhaust is in very good shape, new TA tailpipes, done right- Includes spare tire in trunk
This is a very nice driver-quality car. You have a chance to own a nice, rust-free car from the West Coast.
Message me for additional info and pictures (nine - seven - eight - two -zero - four- six - six - three - five).
