2006 Pontiac GTO Description

2006 Pontiac GTO-last year of the Goat. Torrid Red, Black interior, excellent shape. Less than 39,000 miles. I have owned for 2 1/2 years, never seen rain or snow in my possession. Originally a southern car. I love it, but I don't have the time I thought I would to drive it. I have put less than 3,000 miles on it. 6 speed manual-it's extremely fast but as a 55 year old, I have babied it. I have had some upgrades done, all work, including yearly Mobil 1 synthetic oil changes, done by Komet Motorsports in St. Charles-a family business and they do outstanding work. There are a few upgrades done by the previous owner, they include; Magnaflow exhaust, Fooseblack wheels and AEM Brute Force cold air intake. My upgrades include; Kooks headers, skip shift kit, MGW-P short throw shifter(the stock shifter really sloppy) and custom tune. Nothing internal has been modified. Coolant flush last summer-your'e good to go for several years. Exterior very good shape, a few paint chips but paint rich and vibrant. Interior great except some wear on drivers seat back on the left side which is minor. Trunk good but at one time someone spilled something back there(see stain). I have not tried to clean it because it's in the trunk. Overall the Goat is tremendously solid, no issues, runsphenomenally no disappointments. I take care of my stuff and am religious aboutmaintenance. Headers and tune in summer of 2014, afterwards Komet put her on the Dyno(Mustang Dyno) and the report is included.Top results were peak horsepower 385 and torque 365- keep in mind these are Rear Wheel numbers and not Crank numbers, which add 15 to 25% and Crank numbers are the factory numbers-the HP and Torque measured at the flywheel, but you probably know that. Also included in sale is a CTEK3300 battery tender and a Valentine 1 V1 radar detector. Anyway, a super solid, well cared for, adult driven soon-to- be classic, the last model year of the famed GTO. Please ask any Q's-I am not a hardcoregearhead but I will answer what I can. Clean title is in hand. You are welcome to test drive- I will accompany you on the drive and must have a valid license. I am located in the far western Chicago suburbs-lots of country roads. I have well over $25,000 in it but am starting this auction at a very modest $15,999. $500 paypal deposit required to secure the sale, the balance to be paid within 7 days by cash or cashiers check only. This car is a real head turner, and loud, the perfect combo for summer cruising!
