This was a family owned, and passed down vehicle since brand new, and never up for sale since 1967 until now!

This Black Beauty came from the previous owner’s uncle from Iowa in a barn and brought to Arizona in 1985. Truly a survivor and a time capsule.

The original owner’s nephew had his mechanic overhaul the original 326 V8 engine completely to stock in 1988 because "mechanic said so because of age, 3 years after he brought it to Phoenix. He drove it twice on a family road trip to California with his family to Disneyland putting aprox 15,000 miles total before parking it in his garage in 1999 where it stood parked there for almost 18 years.

This Classic was bought brand new in the showroom show case at “Sedars Pontiac” in Mason city, Iowa. Still sports its badge proudly on the rear tail panel of Pontiac where the dealer put them on with pride.

The original metal data plate that comes with this car implies it was completed on 10/31/1966 Halloween day.

This car shows its age nicely with all original sheet metal stamping and factory numbers on all fenders and quarters. Truly a rare find, something a fully restored could never have. For a factory, black car its straight as a Pontiac Arrow. Paint has a nice shine with patina to it. I would have it repainted black again because of a few nicks and chips on doors.

Fenders, doors, quarters, deck lid, etc. all line up nicely.

Doors open, and shut with ease as they should, power top works fine with a touch of a finger. Windows roll up and down fine, even power antenna works fine.

I ALSO HAVE THE ORIGINAL RADIO THAT WAS PUT AWAY 20 YEAR AGO IN THE TRUNK THAT WORKS.

This car is a must have for the true Pontiac enthusiast!

Would make the ultimate GTO CLONE !

Interior is original and is in great shape! Dash has no cracks at all, as well as the original steering wheel, all dome lights and glove box light work. Truly stunning condition to see a vehicle in this great shape for its age.

Me and my son Lazarus are classic car chasers, when we first heard this amazing story it was a must have for us when I first heard about this great find. We love cars. It’s our passion to get them up and back on the road for others to enjoy them as well. We love the hobby and enjoy the challenges. We took it home on a flatbed tow truck and started to work on it immediately. We drained all the old fluids in it. We then dropped the fuel tank to drain all the old gasoline, I had the carburetor sent out to have it rebuilt, put a new master cylinder with power brake booster, cleaned and adjusted all brake lines after we got her perrrring again!! This # matching 326 V8 factory engine has only 10,000 miles on it and runs quiet and smooth, with plenty of power a real sleeper. Starts, Stops, and Shifts out fine...This vehicle runs fine as it is and where it is, but it is a 50 year old car I would not dare to drive it across country, still may need minor attention somewhere down the line.

“I owned and collected a lot of old cars in my life,

and I truly believe this car to have 30,000 original miles”.
