2009 Pontiac G8 Description
Relisting, grab it before it's gone.
If you're looking for something that is fast, reliable and won't break the bank then you've found it. This has been my weekend car and now it has to go. I found a classic that I've wanted and now I need to free up garage space. The photos provided were all taken in October 2016.
I've owned this Pontiac G8 GT since new and have kept it garaged when not in use. It has many upgrades including:
- 20 Inch TSW Nurburgring Wheels/Lots of tread left.
- Magnusson 2300 Supercharger w/Intercooler & 1.5 Cogged Overdrive (it whines and puts a smile on your face)
- Head/Valve Spring work to support the power. New Valve Springs, mild port/polish and new push rods.
- DoD delete. It's always 8 cylinders, no dropping in/out to 4 cylinder mode.
- 3 Inch Solo Shorty Mach Stainless Steel Exhaust all the way back.
- RotoFab CAI (Carbon)
- CTS-V Brakes all around (6 Piston Brembo up front/4 piston rear)
- Subframe connectors so it hooks up without tire shake.
- Upgraded Sway Bars and link ends
- Twin Fuel Pumps/Full Return System.
- Upgraded Injectors
- 1 7/8 Stainless Headers w/Hi-perf cats 3" collectors.
- Texas Speed Blower Cam/LS7 Lifters
- GXP Rear Diffuser
- 625 Rear Wheel Horsepower
- All the modifications done 12,000 mi ago.
- You can wake the neighbors up anytime you want.
This car has been modified/tuned professionally by a local shops. It's extremely reliable and cruises all day long without any problems. The car really doesn't need anything, everything operates and functions properly. It has less than 37,200 miles and again it was a weekend car for me < 5300 mi/yr. I've also taken good care of it, Royal Purple in the engine/ AMS Oil in the Trans and rear diff.
In terms of vehicle damage, it's never been in an accident and has all the original panels / paint / trim. The only body damage was recent, minor hail damage that is completely repaired (PDR). As you can see from the pics there's no dents/dings. It's just one of those things living in Texas.
The interior is just like new, no rips/tears.
If you think this car is too modified for you let me also assure you that it's extremely streetable and great for road trips. Interior noise is very minimal and it gets over 20MPG cruising. If you put your foot into it, well you can't make horsepower with just air but it's still not bad. It also passes Texas State Vehicle Safety and Emissions tests without any issues.
