For the 2002 model year, Pontiac has
introduced a Grand Prix 40th Anniversary
version for its GT Coupe and Sedan models.
Some of the special appointments that set
the 40th Anniversary Grand Prix apart on
the road include: A unique hood and rear
spoiler, dual-dual exhaust system, roof
fences that mirror the production car's
NASCAR cousin, special wheels and two-tone
Dark Cherry paint.
Inside the vehicle, the milestone
anniversary year is commemorated with
unique interior door emblems, as well as
exquisite two-tone leather seats and door
trim in Ruby Red and Graphite.

This rare Grand Prix has
low miles 75,960 original!
The 40th Anniversary package was a $2695
dollar option and included a two tone
leather interior, black raised NASCAR
inspired roof rails, Special hood with
ducts, (same hood as on the 2000 Daytona
500 pace Car and same unique spoiler),
chrome alloy wheels with special center
emblems, special badging and exhaust tips.
Special Black Cherry paint.
Just a couple minor issues.
The section torn out of the passenger seat back is actually the 40th anniversary patch
that can be sewed back on and repaired,it is included in glove box.
passenger window up, but not working, A/C needs charged and
slight exhaust leak.
This rare collector 2002 GP is loaded with
factory options including moon roof. The cars 3.8 engine runs
good and transmission shifts fine. This
Grand Prix is an all original numbers
matching vehicle never modified in any way.
