-My daughter and I went to the local car dealer and said, "If you come across a trade-in for $3,500 please let us know. However, while most dealerships laughed at us, one called us back to see the car that was being traded in because this woman didn't drive anymore and her grand-daughter was going to purchase a car and use the Grand Am as a trade-in. The woman was still negotiating with the salesman when we arrived. My daughter actuallybrought her "Piggy Bank" and paid for the car with her Piggy Bank money earned from tutoring and summer work!

Reasons for selling:
1) Daughter lives in the city and doesn't drive it.
2) Needs work.
-It has an oil leak from the engine seal: Midas/STS said to just carry a quart of oil if /when it gets low.
-Exhaust systemclampsrusted but holding steady
-Windows need to be resealed as it leaks in when it snows or rains if I don't cover it.
-Speedometer is wonkey, it works then doesn't.
-I had the instrument panel computer chip part fabricated in June of 2012
-Rear Passenger side tail light has a quarter-size hole in the plastic cover.
