2005 Pontiac GTO SAP Holden Monaro
2005 Pontiac GTO Base Coupe 2-Door Description
Hello GTO seekers. Up for sale is my 2005 Pontiac GTO with a tick over 96k miles. It is in excellent condition with minor body upgrades.
I purchased the car with about 78k miles in February of 2012 from Rusnik Mercedes in Arcadia. I drove the car less than 4k miles per year, on average, and I have ALWAYS garaged it.
The modern day GTO was only made from 2004-2006 with 05/06 containing the 400hp LS2 Engine. The color is Cyclone Grey Metallic (CGM) which was also only available in the 05/06 models.
It will be tough to find a nicer GTO. The car needs absolutely nothing. This GTO is easily a 9/10 both exterior and interior. It will not be driven until sold unless it is to meet someone to show it; so mileage will not increase much, if at all. I have the pink slip in hand ready to sign over to the next proud owner.
Feel free to email me with any questions after reading everything. I am only selling because I also have a 2006 GTO and 2009 G8 and it's time to let one go, so this is the odd one out.If you have a blank bank check or cash, let's talk, price is OBO.
The car has the following upgrades:
Engine:
-None
The engine and transmission are all stock and the oil has been changed regularly with Mobile 1 Synthetic 0w-40. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car across the country, it runs/shifts perfect!
Suspension:
-Eibach Lowering Springs
-Koni Yellow Adjustable Shocks
-Whiteline Strut Mount Bushing
-Whiteline Radius Rod Bushings
Wheels:
The wheels were on the car when I purchased it, which I believe to be Beyern 18" wheels. I don't believe they make the wheels any longer, as the closest series I could find is the "Rapp" wheels. If you take the Pontiac logo off the center cap you will see the Beyern logo. Rear tires are 275/40/18 and the front tires are 245/35/18 for a nice staggered look.
Exterior:
-SAP front fascia. This was only available on certain GTO's, I have upgraded mine to have this look.
-SAP side skirts. Again, this was only available on certain GTO's, I have upgraded mine to have this look.
-Hash Stripes on the driver side fender. These were applied by a pinstripe shop for a more professional look.
-6.0 Litre on both the driver and passenger side hood scoops; also applied by the pinstripe shop.
-Black overlay stickers on the front and rear Pontiac emblem.
-Swapped out the red taillights for 2006 black taillights.
-I have the stock spoiler (not pictured). New owner will receive spoiler and spoiler hole covers - make the trunk lid look how you want.
-5% Tint on all windows excluding the windshield of course.
The "Bad":
-Hood has about 4 rock chips that had been attempted to be touched up by the dealer with little success, you can see them in the last picture.
-Headliner is starting to sag on the driver side only.
-That is all
