2003 Pontiac Grand Prix, Many Improvements Made!!
2003 Pontiac Grand Prix SE Description
Car Purchase: 3 Years ago by me
Exterior Improvements Made: New Rockers, New Headlight and Taillight Assemblies, new LF Fender, painting and blending and New Windshield along with Black Window Stripping in multiple locations!
Interior Improvements Made: Replaced Interior Driver's Door Panel, Replaced a Console that goes around the Dash and Radio and Heater Instruments because it was loose. Tightened Passenger's side door panel, installed new interior pillar near LF windshield area.
Maintenance has been kept up in an amazing way. The tires and battery are in good shape, as they were brand new when I bought the car three years ago! Spark plugs and wires along with the intake manifold gasket have been replaced.
All of the front end is tight and nice with new cv axles, outer tie rods, strut assemblies, wheel bearings, pads and rotors, lower ball joints with control arms, and sway bar links! Think of how much money you are saving with all these quality brand new parts replaced!
In the rear, a lateral link has been replaced on the left side and the struts have been done as well as the pads and rotors and sway bar links. The trunk was not able to open with the key when I first bought the vehicle but I spent the money to get the tumbler and trunk parts fixed.
Pros: Battery and Tires are great! Radio is a very nice installed aftermarket unit that plays cds and comes with remote!
Keyless entry with a remote is provided along with a variety of extra parts for you to keep. These extra parts that you can have with the purchase of this vehicle include 1 gallon of coolant, oil and filter for one oil change, spare key and the original headlights and taillights. I also printed out an owner's manual that is over 300 pages, and it is yours to keep when you buy the car!
Gas Mileage is good!
This vehicle will get you where you need to go anytime and never leave you stranded! I have driven it on 400 mile trips and never had a problem!
Cons: The interior carpet could use a good cleaning, but since I will be getting a different vehicle I did not bother with this.
Even though the rockers have been done, there are a couple of minor rust spots that can be seen on the vehicle near the trunk and near the RF door. There is also a small dent area on the right rear bumper and the right side passenger door that could be fixed, but I never fixed them the whole time I have had the vehicle because it did not seem to be that severe or noticeable.
A small issue just recently came up with the EGR Valve. I have not fixed it as of yet because I have not received the part.
As you can see I am asking a lot of money for an older vehicle but you will find there are no major repairs to be concerned with! The EGR issue is not major and it just happened!
