1969 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ 428 69 GP
1969 Pontiac Grand Prix Description
Very nice driving 69 Grand Prix SJ with its original, numbers matching, 370 hp 428 engine, TH400 trans, AM/FM Stereo and 8-track. It also has rally gauges and clock (inoperable), power seat, nice original headliner. Power seat runs but the belt slips. The stereo crackles but does not play. The A/C compressor was removed years ago but turns freely. All of the A/C parts seem to be present, possibly missing some of the attaching bolts. Someone changed the 14" Rally II wheels for 15" Rally II's. Has a minor exhaust leak and some minor dings, dent and rust but drives very well for a 47 year old car. It looks good but could use some cosmetics. The odometer shows a little over 61,000 miles and the granddaughter of the original owner said she thought is was original. I have no idea if it's correct. The tires only have a few hundred miles on them. They were replaced in April 2016. Since I bought it in Feb this year, the engine has been tuned up, new tires, most fluids changed, new trunk mat installed and I installed a factory wood wheel. The original steering wheel was a very sticky deluxe wheel and will come with the car.
I have the PHS report. The car was sold a Moses Pontiac in Huntington, WV. If you have any questions, just ask. If you don't have the money available now, don't bid.
