1967 Pontiac GTO Description

1967 GTO Coupe Project for sale. True 242-07 car. This is not a hardtop. It was one of 7,029 coupes ever made that year. Original color is Gulf Turquoise. I bought the car a little less than a year ago and don't know much about the history here so I am sorry for that. However I will try to share as much as I know about the car and feel free to contact me with questions...I will start with the bad. Car does NOT run. It did when I got it but I have been doing some things. I originally planned on getting it driving so I could get it to the shop and back (I don't own a truck or a trailer). Car has quite a bit of bodywork needs. Floors look good (minimal rust) and the frame looks good. I haven't got the trunk open so I couldn't tell you for sure if there is a lot of rust there but when I had the gas tank out there was no rust through the floor of the trunk. The rust is in most of the normal areas. The front driver side fender will ultimately need to be replaced along with the passengers side rear quarter. Small cracks in the plastic cover over the headlamp. Car has a new gas tank. The old one had a lot of rust in it. I also changed the carburetor out to an Edelbrock performance series carb. I also bought a new fuel pump, which I have not installed yet. But It can also go with the car. Car is an Automatic and has a 400 block engine (don't know much about the engine I know its not original to the car) with a hurst shifter. Has complete interior that would work fine as a driver once it is cleaned up. The dash looks good. ALL n' ALL it's a FULLY COMPLETE car with all trim including rocker panel side trim. Car is tagged and clean/free title in the State of Oklahoma. Thanks for looking.
