1986 Pontiac Fiero GT Description
I was building this car for my wife and was going to be the last Fiero I would ever do, so we would both have Fiero's to drive. But health issues have changed my plans and the cars are being sold. I basically used the best parts I could find to make it a super nice car.
Its a 1986 Fiero GT with 133k on the body. Options include Power windows, Cruise, AC, power locks, tilt wheel, sunroof, Monsoon CD player, remote start/ keyless entry, 4 speed transmission conversion, etc... Everything works. I would give the body a 9.8 out of 10 for condition, paint is 6 months old, looks amazing out in the sun. Interior is basically all stock and in very nice shape. Absolutely no rust in the chassis and when I had the body off the space frame was repainted black with a heavy epoxy paint.
Here's whats done to it.
- Full body off repaint, I removed every panel, stripped them, had every piece painted off the car and reassembled with all new hardware, clips, screws, rivets, etc... No cracks, damage or issues. The nose is perfect, no sagging.

- 17" ASA wheels with decent tires, have 1/3 tread left
- Almost perfect tail lights & all new bulbs throughout the car
- Rodney Dickman 195 cooling fan switch, 180 thermostat & dogbone motor mount.
- New fuel pump & larger 88 gas tank swap
- Interior is very clean and seats are really nice
This is a super nice clean car that runs and drives great. Cruises down the interstate beautiful and way better mileage than the th125 trans.
Only issue with the car is you get engine vibration while stopped in drive, the reason is from the poly swap transmission mounts.
Also has some of the usual fiero squeaks and rattles and rides a lot stiffer from low profile tires and rear coil overs.
I have way too much into the car to get my money back, but would love to see it go to a a new owner and get the love it deserves.
