Body-on restored (1990),
1970 Pontiac GTO Hardtop Coupe. Gulfstream Aqua, Black Cordova Top, Black Vinyl Interior. 400 CI, 350 HP, Turbo Hydra-Matic, 3.31:1 Posi-traction (original motor and transmission).
Sold new at Superior Pontiac, Monterey Park, CA. Final Assembly at Fremont, CA.
Family owned 26 years. The car has been in Southern California its entire life, except the last 8 years it was garaged in Dallas, Texas.

Original exterior paint color was Palomino Copper. Painted 1964 Pontiac GTO Gulfstream Aqua, base coat/clear coat during restoration (close in shade to 1970 GTO Mint Turquoise).
Few stone chips. Great panel fit (original panels). Glass, chrome, stainless all in very good condition. Newer weather-strips throughout. Newer tires (BF Goodrich Radial T/A P225 70R 14 (5)). Original Rally II wheels (5). Trunk mat, jack, tool.
No evidence of rust. Correct reproduction seat covers, carpets, dash pad. Original door, kick and rear panels (all very good condition). No rips, tears. Alpine CD player stored in console (no extra mounting holes; power unit in trunk).
LoJack has been installed on the vehicle.
Little chassis wear. Newer exhaust, gas tank, NOS springs. No evidence of rust. Original 400 CI, 350 HP YS block engine, Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission. Everything (AC, horns, lamps, gauges, clock, wipers/washer, stereo, lighter, etc.) functions as it should. Runs, drives, handles very well.
