1970 Pontiac Firebird Base Description
Selling my Trans am tribute. I finally can drive my project Firebird, many hours spent carefully rebuildina a .040 bored 1971 GTO engine, crank and rods .010 under, new forged pistons, one piece rear main seal by Butler Performance, rebuilt 4X heads, 1600 stall converter to a Fresh Art Carr 200R4 auto with shift kit, to A 4:11 posi rear diff. Have not road sted due to inop rear brake lights. Just driveway? Shifts into fwd and reverse, ladt owner told me trans had 500 test miles. My reserve is set to cover drive line, car is free. I will include new carpet, sills ft seats, need bottons fixed, spoilers, etc. engine runs strong with a mild cam, break in oil still in engine. Feel free to ask questions. No time to finish. Floors are solid. Some rust in a pillars, rt door and behind rear wheels. Car will drive onto transport, does have new exh. But still fairly loud.

On Mar-02-17 at 14:30:57 PST, seller added the following information:More info, Car does not have any underbody rust, or rust in rear wheel wells. There is also a welded subframe connector for strengh for racing.
On Mar-02-17 at 19:33:29 PST, seller added the following information:The engine and transmission have been rebuilt and a new pinion seal has been replaced in the rear diff. The car has most chrome in fair condition, seats are from a later firebird and have high backs to them. They are torn on the bottoms. The driveshaft was used and may need rebuild? My reserve is just to recover the cost of engine and transmission minus labor. I do have a clean Colorado Title. Thank you
