1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula Description

1989 Pontiac Formula with 305 TPI; factory 5 speed; factory t-tops; G80 Posi; J65 disc brakes front and rear; 1SB package; and N10 dual exhaust, however dual cats were removed and it has a new exhaust all the way to the chrome tips out the back, sounds amazing. Sorry RPO sticker is long gone, but I do have the invoice indicating the options I've mentioned. Believed to be original paint and all body panels have the correct factory vin# tags throughout the car and under the rear bumper. Body has no rust, underside is extremely clean with minimal surface rust on axle, floor pans are excellent with no patches. Factory spoiler suffers from the common problem of splits etc., however is acceptable and as seen in the photos. Body has two small spots of clear coat issue, on the hood scoop and behind the t tops as shown in the photos. Other than that the body is in remarkable condition with only a few dings and rock chips accumulated during it's twenty eight years on the road. Tires are new, as are the lower and upper intake gaskets. PLEASE NOTE, the car doesn't have the overdrive gear, all other gears work just fine. The guy I got it from said he has driven it for years without 5th gear just fine, and I can attest to the fact that the car drives very well without it, actually it is the fastest 305 TPI I've driven and is an absolute blast to drive. Interior is in excellent shape, dash has no cracks and the driver's seat bottom has a small tear that has been sewn and it shown in the photos. Again the car is really in remarkable shape and drives extremely well. Inspections prior to the end of the auction are welcomed. Car is sold "as is" and is located in Will County, Illinois which is to be considered the only proper venue should a dispute arise. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION AND HIGH BIDDER WILL OWN THE CAR.
