1995 Pontiac Firehawk - Vortech Supercharger - 36K original miles - Plus Extras
1995 Pontiac Firebird Description
Up for sale is my 1995 Firehawk. Pics are following the description, so scroll down to see this beauty!
I bought the car in 2012 from Midwest Auto Collection in Illinois. The car had 31,399 miles on it then. 4 summers later, it now has 35,978. It was only driven in the summer, weather permitting. I've never driven it in the snow, and only got caught in a light rain once. It has been garage kept since I've owned it.
The car is not all original, and I think I am the 4th owner. The car is mechanically near perfect. The radio crackles if you turn it up too high. That was going to be replaced if I were to keep the car. (I have a new bezel for a din and a 1/2 radio that will go with the car) I do not have any of the parts I replaced.
If your looking for a Firehawk that looks exactly like most of the others, then this is not the car for you. Almost every time I've had this out, I get compliments. It's definitely a head turner!
I'm not a "gear head" so I don't know all the specifics, but it's registered here - http://www.firehawkregistry.com/car/1912.html
Here is what I do know -
- 1995 #244 Formula Firehawk
- 36,000 original miles
- Vortech Super Charger
- Crane HI STR Timing Control (under the steering column)
- 425 HP (that's what I was told when I bought it)
- T-Tops (NO LEAKS), power windows, power locks, power antenna (works perfectly)
Things I changed -
- Custom Leather Interior - with custom Trophy Mat
- Changed to the Honeycomb Tail lights
- Decals were changed to red with a yellow tidle
- Added a few red details (front hawk on the nose, speaker grills, "nostrils".... etc)
- Replaced the battery with a high cranking battery last year
- New brakes all around in 2015
- New Front Floor Mats
Extras -
- I have some extra decals, and speaker grills
- Brake caliper covers (red)
- Custom Car Cover Black with Red Stitching "1995 Firehawk #244"
- T - Top shades- I have a "Near Mint" set of rims from the 94 Firehawk, with tires (1 flat) that I'm adding with the car. I'll add a pic below of the car with these rims
The negatives -
- As mentioned above the radio needs repair or replacement
- I would consider this a "10 footer" any closer and you can see the swirls in the paint
- I have a fair reserve on it. I know I won't get what I put into it, but I'm not going to give it away
