1962 PONTIAC CATALINA PARTS CAR PROJECT BARN GARAGE FIND PATINA HOT ROD GASSER
1962 Pontiac Catalina VISTA HARDTOP Description
The sale is for a 1962 Pontiac. Here is my story. I had originally listed this car both in October and in November and amazingly in March of this year. The first two I was in the middle of taking chemo and radiation treatments for cancer. As sick as I was no one had the courtesy to even send an email. Seriously. This last guy was a work of art too. Talked a full line of BS each time on his way. One excuse new to me is his trailer bearings went out after he greased them over the winter. After four weeks of excuses stopped all contact. Thanks Mr. Detroit! I would be glad to post the user id's and info.
This Pontiac was purchased from the estate from the original owners. It was pulled out of a barn. The car shows 14,000 miles and the daughter of the original owner stated that the miles are original. I have a copy of the original title to go along with the current. There is an oil change sticker from the dealer who sold the car new.
The car has the typical rust as any 1962 and is best described by looking at the pics and or seeing it in person. The frame looks good from a visual inspection. I have not had it on a lift nor have I tried to start it. The true condition of the engine is unknown. I have done nothing other then oil it down. To be mint the car will need a total restoration. I have the hubcaps and radiator. All glass is good. I bought it just before being diagnosed with cancer. I sprayed it down with WD40 thinking I would do something with it when I got better. I am not.
The buy it now is a combination (lessor) of the different selling prices the first being over $3000. I do not have the time nor wish to watch as the games are taking place only to find out I have a ghost buyer at the end.
Before making any offer or hitting the cheap buy it now read the terms below. If you do not agree with anything please move on. I cannot nor will make any exceptions just because you sound like an honest person. If you are NOT the decision maker of the home please get with the person that is.
