1971 Pontiac Firebird FORMULA Description

OK so this is a NICE example, project car, we had goodintentions, bought from a father/son project that sat for 18 years in a nice dry garage in South Carolina, this car really had NO RUST, we did not replace a single panel, except the truck floor but it was very mild, the doors, fenders and original GM fiberglass hood appear to be factory original percolor, theendura nose was in EXCELLENT shape, we did not putty,patch or otherwise molest it and the alignment is near perfect today. The front and rear valance panels are straight and original, as is the deck lid, 3 piece rear spoiler fits as it should and is OEM Pontiac.. The motor was missing, we located a 1976 Pontiac 400 and a set of 6X heads, built to new specs by Poteat's Engineout of Kannapolis NC, has theirwritten warranty, youwon't find a better build shop, its has the Mother Thumper Cam and a the original THM350 trans built with B&M guts and a brand new stall convertor, we have allreceipts for everything. Brake, disc onfront, drum on rear are new, everything withreceipts, The WS6 wheels are OEM off a 1977, they are straight, need polishing, no road rash,you know whatthey are worth. We have every part of the interior, its decent, its red and its all there, seatsare stripped to the frame, the dash is very nice, the steering wheel was NOT a Trans Am wheel, theconsole is all there, the door panels are too, rear plastic and kick panels nice, no headliner, no carpet. The bodywork was done by a local good ole boy, he can tell you what he did and why but theres not much to tell, it wasstraight, he took it to metal, aligned all gaps, smoothed all panels,repinned the doors, cussed at the front and rearbumper brackets and prayed over the hood and hinges. The inside of the trunk is beautiful ready for splatter, the underbody has never been dirty. The front a rear sway are correct and inplace.The firewall and subframe as well as core support have all been strippe, cleaned and repainted with correct colors. The gearbox is rebuilt unit to factory specs. We offer this simple warranty, if you don't like it, for any reason, you can walkaway. We will reverse sale, no sweat. Heres what we are missing: Exhaust manifolds, Radiator and shroud, 1 fender vent/grill,carburetor, air cleaner, and accelerator and detent cable.
