Up for Auction is a fully loaded mature adult driven 2005 GTO bright red with a "rebuilt salvage" title which was reclassified as such by Illinois only for insurance purposes (entire detail is below). This car is completely stock, with the exception of the 19” VMR rims, Bridgestone pole position S04 summer tires, and upgraded brakes I bought and added to car.The rims/tires were $2000 (I have receipt) and I have the original rims.It still drives comfortably and there’s no more sliding in corners. The only other change I made were the brakes, I put slotted and cross drilled rotors with carbon fiber/ceramic brake pads on the car.It had lackluster braking before, now it stops quicker than any car I’ve ever driven. I have title in hand with NO liens. When I bought this car I changed/added:
·Mobil One Fully synthetic 5W-30 (since bought $69.98, $48.64, $66.33, $59.32)
·Prestone 5yr/150k Dexcool Coolant
·Good year Gatorback serpentine belts (the best), 2 on this car, one for AC

The transmission was replaced with a brand new (not rebuilt!) one at 6,000 miles (2nd gear syncro out) at Gary Lang Auto, so it truly only has 33,700 miles.I’ve changed the oil every 1000-2000 miles with only Mobil One fully synthetic.A couple months ago I put in 15,000 mile Mobil One Fully Synthetic, it has about 500 miles on it.The A/C runs perfect, car shifts great, clutch works perfectly, and engine runs smoothly like the day it was rolled off assembly line.Exhaust is in great condition. The bottom side of this car looks great. The interior looks brand new.The trunk is in perfect condition, and under the hood this car looks great. The spare tire (yes full-size spare), Jack, lug wrench are still in-tact.The new wheels/tires are still in perfect condition with about 500 miles on them. The previous owner kept it in a garage year-round and drove it 3k miles a year in the summer. This car has been well kept.I’ve owned it for around 2 years and put 3k miles a year on it.For the past year I’ve only drive it on sunny summer days on the weekend. When I first bought it, I had to drive it one month in the snow, which of course, I washed it daily if there was snow/salt on the ground; I had an indoor heated garage with car wash bay, so I could clean under the wheel wells and power wash the underside.I assure you, no salt/snow has damaged this cars integrity in the month it was driven in February ‘14.Since I’ve owned it, I stored it in the center of a concrete garage with the car cover on it, so it never sees dust, let alone the outdoor elements.
This is an adult driven car, the only reason I’m selling this car is my new job doesn’t require I travel anywhere, so it’s only getting 10 miles a week on it in the spring/summer/fall.It’s waste to just store the car, this car is in top notch condition and ready to drive cross country or anywhere else for that matter.
Extra things included with car:
-Brand new OEM fob andcut-key, just needs to be coded (you can do it w/o taking it to dealership)

-OEM lug nuts and caps

-Cover cable and lock $10
-CoverKing special order Sunshield that only fits this car - $34.99
-GTO key chain $11.99
-OEM GTO manual $50
-reveal moulding $39.99
Moulding retainers $82.08
This car does have a rebuilt title, but it’s a ridiculous reason for having it.All the VIN numbers match on radiator core, trunk, and door. The car on 9/11/14 (of all things) was stolen.Under Illinois law, if a car is gone for more than two weeks, the insurance company must write it off and it gets a rebuilt title. The car was found within a month and then I bought it from a dealer that got it at auction a month later. This car, if you look at it is one of the best looking cars that is 11 years old.Everything in it still looks amazing and it runs perfect.I’ve babied this car since I’ve owned and all work has been done by Grossman Cadillac dealership I live by or Nortown Motors (one of the best independent car shops in the city that works on Ferraris/Porsches/Lambos/Corvettes).This is another reason why I changed all the fluids as a precaution and had the dealership go completely through it and replace all fluids; they didn’t find anything wrong with the car.
The leather I conditioned with Wolfgang care combo, and all plastic/rubber was conditioned with 303 non-silicone protectant. These are the best you can get.I also buffed the car with 3M polish to a mirror shine last year. It’s still looking perfect, because I only drive it in perfect weather. This car looks amazing.I have receipts for everything listed above.
The only issue right now which is cosmetic, is the back left reveal moulding by rear window split, this is a piece of plastic that goes under the actual aluminum moulding that spans the roof and back window.I bought a new reveal moulding which snaps onto the rear glass and 8 retainers that hold the moulding and reveal moulding on.The correct way to install this is to take the rear window off and put it back on.It’s a little under $200 to remove and install the window.I purposely haven’t put this back on because I was going to tint the windows on the car. As every car professional knows, the easiest way to tint rear windows is to actually take the window out and put it back in.So I’m taking the starting price of the car from $14,500 to $14,300 to compensate for this. It’s possible if you cut the window adhesive back far enough you can slide the new reveal moulding piece on, but I don’t want to risk breaking the original rear glass window.
This is a used car, therefore, there is no warranty expressed or implied. It’s an 11 year-old car, so there may be minor imperfections here and there, after all it does have 39,700 miles driven on it.Since I’ve owned it and the previous owner, the utmost care has been applied for detailing it and providing preventative maintenance(as my receipts will show).
I have 22 pages of maintenance records/receipts, including the receipt for rims/tires.Don’t pass up an amazing deal on a completely stock GTO with only brake and wheel/tire changes. This car WILL go through the entire auction process, I am letting bidders decide what this gem is worth, please do not offer me side offers on the car, as it is against eBay policy and my ethics. My loss is your gain, good luck bidding!
