1997 Pontiac Grand Prix Description

1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 3.8L Supercharged
Adult driven car used as daily driver. Was a good car and was taken care of for the last five years. It has many new parts. Upgraded GXP F-Caliper front brakes(larger slotted rotors) and also new rear brakes (slotted rotors), steel braided lines, brand new brake booster. New Windshield, high dollar wipers, American racing wheels, all 4 new struts NEW>> fuel pump, regulator, alternator, radiator, filter, all hoses, coil packs, new stainless header still in the box, New flow masters are put on. Deep throaty sound. Heads up Display, 7 disc CD changer, leather seats good, Brand New MAP & MAF sensor, 9" cone air filter, New battery, new iridium plugs, all new belts, pulleys, water pump, New harmonic balancer/pulley, New M90 Supercharger, New supercharger fluid and ZZP green coupler ...all replaced, Lots more done to the car... Paint is good. No rust that I can see, Also, has new sway bar (needs put on), New front axles still in box, new rear lateral links (needs put on), new trailing arm, New fuel tank straps, locking gas cap...plenty more new parts I'm forgetting...
Now for the bad: Car was fixed and ran 18 hours on a great drive, no major problems whatsoever, but had a wobbly wheel, so put in moog front wheel hub, got back from shop and not sure what happened but it never ran since I got it back. So it's been sitting for about a year. Tint is peeling on rear glass too. I have put so much time and money in it that I decided to take a break and just let it sit. Although, as you can see, this car was taken care of and there are tons of thousands of dollars with BRAND NEW PARTS.
Basically a Rust free car and I would rate it in good conditionHas after market SD hood, custom spoiler, side skirt trim package.Brand New Headlights after market HID bulbsHas LED custom lights installed on the interior.
Needs tires, crank position sensor and fuel injectors (If it doesn't sell I will put those 3 things on)
I have some extra parts that will go with the car...
Power seats, new fan blower, new resistor for blower, new parts to the exhaust. New passenger side window cowl rain deflector put in, new gm coolant chrome plated elbow.
All offers considered. Buyer is responsible for working out your own shippingClean title.
This particular GTP is in good shape but again it does not run and will need towed in its current condition. Like I said, it has been sitting for a year and it needs some mechanical TLC.
Deposit of $500 due within 24 hours at the close of auction. Also, remaining funds must clear before pick up.
IMPORTANT: Please read and observe the below statement as it applies to this vehicle.**This car is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the listing at any time or sell it locally regardless of the outcome of the auction**

On Apr-24-17 at 01:49:51 PDT, seller added the following information:

More Brand New Parts:Brand new large capacity Hayden transcooler. (not exactly sure of the size, but roughly around 12" x 10" - fits RV camper)Radiator is new and also large capacity with new capBrand new in box 10.5mm red-colored performance sparkplug wiresBrand new in box 2 additional regular size front rotors that were never used because I bought F-Caliper Brake kit and also the back brakes and rotors and lines are brand new.2 extra used spare tiresBrand new: Also comes with a specially ordered custom fit "U hose" to block off heater core (this is useful for trips in an emergency situation)Had a AC bypass pulley (new) but I'm not sure where it is - (will look for it...)2 Brand new front control arms with ball joints still in boxBoth Front outer tie rods are New2 after market fog/driving lights (New in box)New break lines comes in a huge roll, bendable steel and copper in unopened packaging.
(Had a new master cylinder but took it back because the one that was on the car was in excellent condition) This was during the New Brake Booster install.Newer Supercharger belt is shorter and has been modded for higher boost and quicker acceleration response.Newer Accessories serpentine beltTiming chain was checked and is strongValve cover gasket replacedPart of the header is wrapped for cooler flow of heatThrottle body was meticulously cleaned and thereis not dirt.ER brake is tight like it was from factoryI went a step further with this car and dismantled the annoying "GM KeyLock alarm system" - if you are not familiar with this, it can become a faulty system that will prevent the car from starting. Anyways, it's dismantled and the car is good, so you will not have to worry about getting stuck with this issue.***. ***Fiberglass Hood could use a respray.
Basically this car has been looked after and it has a lot invested in time and money.
While you may see some nice GTP's out there... this one is in very good condition.
Once this car is fixed, and knowing all that's been done to it... I personally wouldn't hesitate driving across country with it. That's how good of condition it is. I averaged about 26-29 mpg with this car on the highway and that is by my own standard and not simply looking at the gauge.
Like I said regardless of the outcome of this auction, I reserve the right not to sell this car. I at least want a fraction of what I have invested in it.
