1988 Pontiac Fiero FORMULA Description
Up for auction is this 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula with factory T-Tops. This car is one of only 299 that were produced with the factory authorized T-top option (CJB). Car has a rebuilt 3.4L V6 from a 1992 Chevy Camaro with performance cam and injectors, automatic transmission, power windows, power locks & A/C. This car has gone through an extensive restoration/modification and is a VERY fun car to drive!The restoration included the following:ALL NEW-Champion 3-core aluminum radiator.ALL cooling system hoses.Removal, cleaning and replacing full-body coolant tubes.Master cylinder & booster.ALL four N.O.S. brake calipers with pads.Drilled and slotted rotors.Stainless Steel brake lines through out the car.Braided Stainless Steel brake hoses at all four corners.Rodney Dickman front wheel hubs.Front shocks.Poly control arm bushings front and rear.Stainless Steel transmission cooler lines.Removal & recondition fuel tank and install new fuel pump.TRW rear wheel hubs.Rear struts.Transmission fluid and filter changed.New exhaust with cat-delete and performance muffler.New battery.Engine was rebuilt and has approx. 1,500 miles.American Racing Torque Thrust wheels- 16" X 7"Tires are General G-Max 205-55 ZR 16's in front & 255-50 ZR 16"s in the back.Interior was removed and professionally cleaned.New headliner.Pioneer AM/FM/CDPaint was done by renowned Pontiac restoration shop "Marv's Motor City", panel off with the addition of a DGP rear wing.

I recently learned that the production date of this car was August 15th, 1988 (August 16th, 1988 was the LAST day of production). It was one of the last Fiero's produced and quite possibly one of, if not the last Formula T-Top made!
