Near Mint, 25th Anniversary Trans Am Classic, 1 of 700 Made, Only 40K Orig Miles
1994 Pontiac Trans Am Anniversary Edition, GT Description
Flash back to when you could still buy vinyl records and a gallon of gas was just over a dollar. Flashback to when there was still a GM PontiacDivision.Limited production.1 of 700 built with AUTO/CD PLAYER AND T-TOPS COMBO, 1994 25th Anniversary Edition Pontiac Trans Am, 275HP, 5.7 LTR, LTI- 350 w/SEQUENTIALPORT INJECTION,"PACKS A PUNCH!"RECOGNIZED AS ONE OF THE FIRST OF OUR MORE MODERN MUSCLE CARS AND DESIGNED AFTER THE VERY RARE 1970, WHITE W/ SINGLE BLUE STRIPE TRANS AM'S. FOR NASCAR FANS, THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY, ALSO THE OFFICIAL PACE CAR USED IN THE 1994 DAYTONA 500.With only a very few exceptions, notsince the late 60's and early 70's, had select models of these cars seen factory horse power ratings of anything more than 220. From the mid/late 70's on into the 80's, it was a downward slope, until the introduction of the 4th Generations in 1993, and the LT1 motor. Central FL car most of her life, garage kept, "no rust", driven only on weekends & to the occasional car show, "Compliments O'plenty!". If only I looked and was in this excellent of condition, two decades plus later. This rather rare T/A is 99% factory original and unmolested. I did add a new Pioneer stereo, w/Rockford Fosgate amp. Included with the sale, is the factory stereo, which has issues with the CD player. Factory Amp is still in it's proper location, and could be reconnected, if anyone ever wanted to install a factory original replacement stereo. Opted to go the route I did, as I wanted a more modern tech equipped head unit to use with my I-Phone. All ten factory speakers are original, and working properly.Interior is very close to showroom new condition as well as the exterior and paint. Leather seats, front and back in great condition, Carpet, Dash and T-Tops, perfect condition, no fading, cracks or scratches. Molding around the T's and windows also excellent condition. More specific to the interior, I recently had the cloth replaced for the headliner, which is the factory original color and was professionally done by one the Southeast's top upholstery shops. Headliner itself was in great condition.I have all maintenance records as well as the special owners manual that came with these and the original window sticker from the dealer. Mechanically and electronics wise, everything works, including the A/C and Heat. She runs fantastic, no oil or fluid leaks, no slips or hesitation in the R-400 transmission. Get in go, drive anywhere with confidence and with no need of worry putting miles on her for a long time! Oh and for those familiarwith theLT1's and when comparing prices to other 25th Anniversaries. I also had the opti-sparkdisturber replaced with the improved and rather expensive, after market model. Clean title, no accident history, body is straight as an arrow, not even a minor ding or scratch.
I'm not aware of any other ver, "limited", production, "real factory hp era" Trans Am Classic, that one can buy today for around 15K and be this clean or close to factory original perfect. NADA value for those in like new condition, with T's and well under average mileage, $17,900.00.Due to changing age demographics in the classic muscle car market, rare birds such as this, continue to bring more overall at auction each passing year.If trying to stay well under 50K for mileage, believe my price is quite reasonable. Especially when comparing to classic dealer cars, and you don't need to go through them, if financing is a need. "JJ BEST". Believe my price also reflects the fact she is not a one owner car. If that's of any concern, I know the cars history, and it's more like a two owner car including me. Regardless of how many owners, the bottom line is, she's been well taken care of, which is by far the most important factor.Though I know I'll probably regret selling this T/A, I'm simply considering something else, as I don't, "currently", have the budget or space for multiple toys. If meant to keep her longer, that's fine too. Confidence is high, this T/A will just keep going up in value.
If relevant, this is the first time I've used Ebay in a long time and unfortunately they don't keep rating feedbac, "as a seller", going back very far. If they did, I'd have three out of three 100% positive buyer feedbacks for cars I had sold on here. More pics available, and can also provide video upon request. I took the time to write all of this, not to be long winded, but as I believe, when selling any pre-owned older vehicle, "especially a performance classic" the more info and history provided up front, the better. Think I'm in the minority with that opinion. For real potential buyers, your're more than welcome to call me at 561-282-8502 with any questions.Low ballers, please don't waste my time or yours.
Seeing as how they made so few 25thAnniversaries,If by some slim chance anyone reading has one also, and if your T/A was ever titled in Dare County, N.C, the Outer Banks area where I grew up, good chance that was the first one I ever saw back in 1994. Just before my moving to FL. Obviously that car made an impact on me, that 20 years later exactly, I acted upon. Call menostalgic.
