. This is a 1965 Pontiac Tempest that was purchased new and owned in Hopewell Virginia. This car has always been either garaged or kept under a carport. The original owner kept the car until a little over a year ago. The Tempest only has 55,062 miles because the original owner lived in the City of Hopewell and walked to work instead of driving. The original owner stopped driving the car about 16 years ago and it sat. Then a contractor doing work on the house spotted the car and bought it. He had it a short time until he sold it to a friend of mine who did a lot of work to the car and asked me to list it as he wants a 55 or 57 Chevy. This car is in excellent condition - it runs, drives, rides and looks great. The original engine fires right up and runs strong. Original transmission shifts fine. The car drives straight at interstate speeds. The current owner took the Tempest and changed the interior from bench seat to buckets with console that he got from a buddy who had stored these original parts for years. He replaced the trim with GTO trim and had the car professionally painted. This car has never been rusted or rotted and has all original body panels except for the GTO style hood with scoop. The buyer can have the original hood. The car was painted a 1965 Pontiac Lemonwood Yellow accented with gold pinstripes on the sides. The car has new tires and Cragar SS wheels along with a new dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The brakes were completely replaced and the front end checked and aligned. This Tempest can be driven anywhere with confidence. The owner has taken it on a couple of trips including out of state. The car is a dream to drive. Email any question and you may call the owner Rick at 804-four five two-0260 to set up a time to see and go for a ride in the Tempest. The car looks better in person than in the pictures.
